Every monitor displays images differently, depending on the monitor's size and settings.

We have carefully controlled the creation of stamp images on this website.  Each stamp image was created to the same "scale" as the ruler shown above.  The ruler is also shown on stamp pages throughout this website.

You can place a piece of paper up to your monitor and trace this ruler and use the paper ruler to measure the stamp designs on our website. The ruler shown here may be bigger or smaller than normal (depending on your monitor's size and settings), but the images and the ruler are the same "scale" so the paper ruler you have created will give you accurate measurements.

If you are a sophisticated computer user you may be able to adjust your monitor settings until the ruler shown above is "actual size." At that point the stamp images on this site will be actual size as well. If the ruler already appears to be actual size then the stamp images will too.

When shopping the web for stamps keep in mind that any website that tells you the image you are seeing is "actual size" does not understand that your monitor size and settings control the size of the images.
